License: Current and valid nursing license
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, EKG/Telemetry test
Must-Have:
- Experience with pacemakers
- Proficiency in IV insulin protocols
- Knowledge of continuous bladder irrigation (CBI)
- Ability to provide patient care and manage telemetry
Description:
Current and valid driver's license or state-issued ID required.
Utility bill in the traveler's name with matching address within the last three months is required.
Address must be greater than 75 miles from the contracted facility.
No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be accepted.
Candidates must have Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
First-time travelers are not accepted.
Candidates must float within their scope to meet facility needs if required.
Candidates must be willing to float to other facilities if needed.
The patient ratio is typically 4-6.
Charting will be done using the Epic system.
COVID-19 vaccine is required with medical or religious exemptions only.
Flu vaccine is also required with medical or religious exemptions only.
Candidates must have experience in accessing and managing ports, administering blood products, and using telemetry.
Additional skills required include performing phlebotomy and management of temporary/permanent pacemakers.
All candidates must be willing to work weekends as needed.
Two supervisory references are required for submission.
Modules will be completed during orientation and vary by specialty.
Billable module hours apply based on the classification of the module.
