Description:
This is a 13-week nursing position in a medical unit.
The shift will be during the day, with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
The position requires a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Weekend work is expected every other weekend.
Holiday shifts will be required every other holiday and as needed.
Candidates should have experience in telemetry and medical-surgical units.
The patient population includes individuals with cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal conditions, substance abuse issues, and medical diagnoses with underlying psychiatric disorders.
The unit has 38 beds, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights.
Patient care technician ratio is 1:10.
