Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,031 per week in Greensboro, NC

This unit primarily serves a medical-surgical population with telemetry capabilities. The shift is 3x12-hour nights from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Every other weekend and holiday rotation is required. Charge RN shifts may be assigned as needed. Travelers may float across various facilities as required. BLS certification is mandatory. Epic charting system experience is required. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:6. Travelers must pass an EKG exam during onboarding. Skills required include blood product administration, peripheral line management, and starting IVs. Experience with insulin and heparin protocols is necessary. Isolation precautions knowledge is required. Nasal cannula usage and oral suctioning abilities are needed. Knowledge of rapid response teams is essential. Wound care and management of surgical drains are expected responsibilities. All RNs must be capable of dysrhythmia interpretation. Unit support includes various interdisciplinary team members. Expected patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Floating may occur between different units as the need arises. Restrictions apply for local candidates within a specific radius.
