Description:
This role is for a registered nurse in a medical/surgical/telemetry setting.
The position requires working three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
Candidates must be flexible with scheduling.
Tardiness and unexcused absences are not tolerated.
Travel nurses may be required to float across various facilities.
The patient population will primarily be medical-surgical.
Candidates must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding.
A variety of clinical skills are required including EKG interpretation, IV management, and blood product administration.
Interdisciplinary support is available including physical therapy and respiratory services.
Isolation precautions and adherence to safety protocols are mandatory.
The expected patient ratios during the day are 1:6.
This position requires strong teamwork and communication skills.
Clinical duties may include rapid response team participation.
Candidates must uphold the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Applicants should be aware of the compliance requirements in order to complete onboarding successfully.
Specific unit-based training modules will be provided as part of the orientation process.
