Job Summary:
This medical-surgical registered nurse position with telemetry in Neptune, New Jersey, involves evaluating patients, assisting physicians with patient care, and developing individualized plans of care. The role requires providing patient-centric care, performing therapeutic interventions, and managing patient needs in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Job Details:
- Position: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical with Telemetry (RN - MedSurg/Older Pedi/ Hospice)
- Location: Neptune, New Jersey
- Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week, with every other weekend required and one holiday requirement. No on-call is required. Floating may be necessary when needed.
- Required Qualifications: ASN with NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license; BLS and ACLS certifications; minimum of 2 years RN experience working in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry unit in a major acute care hospital setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Required Certifications & Licensure: NIHSS, Telemetry, BLS-AHA, CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours, ACLS.
- Additional Information: The role involves taking care of hospice patients, providing hospice care, utilizing telemetry skills, and delivering evidence-based nursing practices in a patient-focused environment.
