**Join Our Team as an Acute Travel RN in Med/Surg!**

**Position Details:**
- **Role:** RN/LPN
- **Shift:** 7 PM to 7:30 AM
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Weekend Requirement:** Rotate every other weekend; potential for additional shifts based on census.
- **Call Requirements:** Yes, may be placed on call or floated.
- **Years of Experience:** 1-2+ in Med/Surg required.
**Unit Information:**
- **Number of Beds:** 19
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:5
- **Equipment:** Welch Allyn vital machines, masimno at bedside in every room, careview, telemetry, sara stedy, ARJO lift.
- **EHR:** Medhost - Clinical Experience
- **Supervisors:** Shanna Hill, MS/ICU Director; Jessica Barrow, CNC MS/ICU
- **Patient Population:** Geriatric and adults, with an occasional pediatric patient (3-4 per year).
**Required Certifications:**
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg unit.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float to medical detox, ICU, OB, or ER as needed, with task assignments in OB and ER.
- Provide care for low-level Med/Surg overflow patients in ICU with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3.
**Ideal Candidate:**
- Must have Med/Surg experience.
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
