Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,059 per week in Spokane, WA

Job Title: Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Neuro nursing License: Valid Compact License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Neuro experience required Proficiency in caring for post-surgical neurology patients Comfortable with the NIH scale Description: This position requires a registered nurse to provide care in a Neuro Telemetry setting. The nurse will float between units as needed. Weekends are required every other weekend. The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4. Candidates must have experience in management of dysrhythmias and pre/post-neurosurgical care. Familiarity with charting in Epic is mandatory. The unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Daily patient census is approximately 48. The facility is designated as a stroke unit and is thrombectomy capable. Interdisciplinary support is provided by various teams, including physical therapy and pharmacy. The nurse must be proficient in telemetry and the management of spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries. This role may require participation in holiday shifts. References covering the last year are required for the compliance process prior to the start. Travelers may be expected to float to nearby facilities if necessary. Clear communication devices will be provided as needed to perform job duties.
