We are seeking a highly capable Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to patients with a variety of medical and cardiac conditions. In this role, you will assess patients, administer medications and treatments, monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs, recognize changes in patient condition, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
MedSurg/Telemetry RN Responsibilities:
Providing direct nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit.
Caring for patients with a variety of medical, surgical, and cardiac conditions.
Performing comprehensive patient assessments and recognizing changes in patient condition.
Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders.
Monitoring cardiac rhythms, vital signs, oxygen levels, and other patient parameters.
Providing telemetry monitoring and promptly reporting abnormal cardiac rhythms or changes in condition.
Managing IV medications and continuous infusions as required.
Caring for patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, including post-operative patients.
Assisting with patient mobility, pain management, wound care, and activities of daily living.
Developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans.
Collaborating with physicians, respiratory therapists, nursing assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintaining accurate patient documentation and electronic medical records.
Educating patients and families regarding medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Responding promptly to changes in patient condition and escalating concerns appropriately.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients.
Floating to other appropriate MedSurg/Telemetry units based on facility needs and clinical competency.
Required Qualifications:
Active RN license
Minimum 2 years of recent MedSurg/Telemetry experience
Recent MedSurg/Telemetry experience within the last 1 year
BLS certification required
Gross Pay (weekly): $2065
Taxable Pay (weekly): $819
Non-taxable Pay (weekly): $1246
Shift: 12hr Night Shift
Location: Macon, GA
Scheduled Hours: 36
