Key Responsibilities

• Float across up to 5 Medical Surgical / Telemetry units as assigned
• Independently read and interpret telemetry strips
• Administer and manage IV therapy in an acute care setting
• Adapt quickly to varying unit environments, patient populations, and workflows
• Provide direct patient care in alignment with unit-specific protocols and standards

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
• Ability to independently read telemetry strips and pass an on-site telemetry exam on Day 1 with a score of 84% or higher (2 attempts allowed)
• Proficiency with Meditech and EPIC electronic health record systems
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in a float pool or multi-unit setting
• Prior experience floating across Medical Surgical / Telemetry units
