Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized care to adult patients in an acute setting, including telemetry reading and interpretation, patient monitoring, and collaboration with healthcare teams. The position requires adherence to unit standards and delivering safe, quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Location: Not specified.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM or 07:30 AM to 07:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS certifications; valid nursing license; 2 years of registered nursing experience, including at least 1 year in Medical-Surgical, with telemetry experience preferred. Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience precepting nursing students in a clinical setting.
• Float: Float into the Multi Care Unit & Pediatric unit to care for adult MS Telemetry patients and to other Medical-Surgical units as needed.
• Additional Information: Clinicians must pass a dysrhythmia exam on hire, with two attempts allowed, and score at least 80%. Candidates should be willing to care for both Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients, and interpret telemetry strips. Orientation includes hospital and unit-specific training, with clinical precepting responsibilities.

• Experience or 'Must have' skills: Ability to interpret telemetry strips, minimum 2 years RN experience, and flexibility with floating and shift rotations.
• Shift & Scheduling: 12-hour day shifts, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Staff may rotate standby turns based on census and contract.
• Dress Code: Any scrub color except camouflage.
