Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience. 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for is required. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand. Certifications: American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required. NIH certification must be obtained prior to start. Must-Have: Epic experience is required. One recent reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required. ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate will be completed during orientation, and an acceptable score on both assessments is required. Traveler must work at least every other holiday. Description: All requirements listed in the job description and submission requirements are non-negotiable, and no exceptions will be made. Night shift, 3 twelve-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Nurses must maintain acceptable performance standards. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. Required certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission. Background checks of any kind will be reviewed, but individuals with an open case will not be accepted. License violations will not be accepted. Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements temporarily. All other travelers must be nicotine-free. A negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, is required within 12 months of start and must be updated annually. Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to the facility for one year from their previous end date. BCI/FBI prints are time-sensitive and must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract. Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, but a 6-month break is required before returning unless approved. Modules required for the position will vary, and time needed may differ by specialty. Annual modules are billable for up to 4 hours if on contract for a continuous year.
