Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The successful candidate will care for border patients in the Emergency Department or Acute Surgical Unit, as well as float to Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ED and ASU areas.
• Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience required.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• Successful completion of the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
• Experience in MS/Telemetry nursing is required.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records is preferred.

Work Schedule

• Night shifts, 3x12 Hour (19:00 - 07:30).
• No weekends.
• No holidays.

Vaccination Requirement

All employees are required to receive the Flu vaccine.
