Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients and manage critical situations effectively. This position involves floating to Medical Surgical (MS) and MS/Tele units as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients in the emergency department.
• Perform EKG rhythm interpretations and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care.
• Document all patient interactions and care accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in MS/Tele and Cardiac Tele settings.
• Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Successful completion of the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a perfect score on lethal rhythms.

Work Schedule:

This position requires availability for a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:30. There are no weekend, holiday, or on-call responsibilities associated with this role.

Additional Requirements:
