Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,077 per week in Carson City, MI

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in acute care with Med Surg and Telemetry experience required. License: State license required by start date. Certifications: BCLS, ACLS Must-Have: EPIC charting experience required. Must have acute care experience. Must have Med Surg and Telemetry experience. All staff must pass tele test-proof competency prior to starting. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical/Telemetry specialty. The position requires a commitment to working every other weekend. Nursing staff will manage various drips including Carizem, Amiodarone, and Insulin. The nurse will also initiate pressors for blood pressure management prior to transport. Staff will be responsible for a patient ratio of 5 per nurse. Previous charge experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and central line management is essential. Experience with interpretation of arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias is necessary. The unit will see patients with diagnoses including but not limited to COPD, sepsis, CHF, cellulitis, pneumonia, and ileus. All staff will participate in interdisciplinary support from various departments. Candidates should be willing to provide proof of high school level education. All certifications must be valid and not pending upon contract start. Modules will be required to be completed prior to start. Candidates must adhere to the maximum time-off policy, and all RTO should be submitted during the application process.
