Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Cardiac telemetry, medical-surgical, and PCU/stepdown experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
• Prophecy Relias Advanced EKG assessment required
• Strong dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac rhythm management skills required
• Experience with Cerner required
• Ability to provide references and complete required compliance items

Med-Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for adult and geriatric observation patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms with confidence
• Manage patients requiring additional testing and continued assessment from the emergency department
• Administer blood products and maintain central lines, peripheral lines, and PICC lines
• Support patients on heparin protocols and non-titratable cardiac drips
• Care for patients with CVA, seizure disorders, and substance withdrawal needs
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Float within the hospital as needed, within scope of practice
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to a safe, organized patient care environment
