Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse in the San Fernando Valley area. This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. The role also includes supervising and directing the activities of various levels of nursing staff, as well as coordinating care with other disciplines to promote patient safety and well-being.
Job Details
Location: San Fernando Valley area, within a facility that offers comprehensive cardiology care and other services.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications, Certifications, and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent; licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor; 0 years of experience required.
Essential Functions: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patients health or situation; analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues; develops, implements, and evaluates care plans; collaborates with healthcare team and patients; provides education to patients, families, and team members; participates in discharge planning; delegates and coordinates duties of healthcare team members; performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Additional Information: Supervises and directs the activities of nursing staff; coordinates care delivery while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment; participates in creating a safe, healing, and humane environment.
