Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,095 per week in Salem, MA

Job Title: Float Pool RN Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Eve/Night Rotation Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of acute care hospital experience; 2 years working as a Traveler License: Active RN License Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Must be willing to float to 8 different units. Experience with telemetry monitoring, including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours. Experience with cardiac drips and reading telemetry strips. Description: The position requires floating throughout the hospital to various medical/surgical telemetry areas. Clinician to patient ratio is up to 5:1 during days and evenings and up to 6:1 during nights. The patient population includes emergency department border patients, medication nurse in acute mental health, and care for non-vented patients who are transfer ready in ICU. Units range from 8 to 41 beds with a total bed count of 371. Rotation requirements involve rotating between days, evenings, and nights with 1 to 3 rotations to nights per contract. The EMR charting system used is EPIC. Two years of experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
