Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,095 per week in Salem, MA

Job Title: Float Pool Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of acute care hospital experience and 2 years working as a Traveler License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, reading telemetry strips, TR Band experience Description: Must be willing to float between multiple different units. Responsible for cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and interpreting telemetry strips. Float throughout the facility to various Med/Surg Tele areas. Must measure intervals and interpret telemetry strips every 4 hours. Clinician to patient ratio will be up to 5:1 during days and evenings, and up to 6:1 at night. Care for patients in the emergency department and acute mental health units. Also responsible for caring for non-vented patients who are transfer-ready from the ICU. Facility has a bed count of 371, with unit sizes ranging from 8 to 41 beds. Rotation may include transitioning from days/evenings to night shifts. Electronic medical record system utilized: EPIC.
