We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med/Surg and Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience in acute care settings and be comfortable managing a variety of patient care responsibilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesIV Therapy & Phlebotomy
- Administer IV therapy and perform phlebotomy
- Access and manage ports
- Administer blood products
- Manage peripheral lines and PICC lines
- Start and maintain IV lines
Respiratory Care
- Manage chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac systems)
- Provide oxygen therapy via nasal cannula
Neurological / Psychiatric Care
- Care for patients with CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident)
Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response
- Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
- Perform telemetry monitoring (unit-based and remote)
- Respond to emergencies using Rapid Response and Code Teams
Professional Skills
- Follow isolation precautions and infection control protocols
