The role requires floating between different units based on patient care needs. Every other weekend availability is required. A vehicle is necessary for this assignment. Incentives may apply for floating shifts to specific facilities. Nurses will be expected to manage patient care, including the administration of medications and monitoring patient status. Experience with telemetry and IV protocols is essential. The expected patient ratio is 1 nurse to 4 patients. The facility supports interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Nurses should be proficient in telemetry monitoring and emergency response protocols. Floating to additional units may occur based on the needs of the facility. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Candidates should have skills in managing various medical procedures and adherence to safety protocols. All job-related communication devices will be provided by the facility at no cost. Additional training may be required, and completion will be tracked.
