Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,105 per week in Tucson, AZ

Job Title: Adult Surgical Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Med/Surg/Telemetry License: Valid Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: - EPIC experience - Team nursing model experience Description: This position requires providing care to adult and geriatric patients. Registered Nurses will be expected to float within the scope of practice. Nurses will work on a team with LPNs at a ratio of 2:8. Solo Registered Nurse ratio will be 1:5-6. The role involves managing patients in post-surgical settings. Candidates must have experience with telemetry monitoring. Required skills include administering medications, managing IVs, and providing wound care. Knowledge of dysrhythmias and respiratory management is necessary. Candidates must confirm understanding of the patient care ratios and team nursing model during the offer process. Floating to other facilities in rare instances will be required. All certifications must be current and cannot expire within 30 days of the start date. Preference will be given to candidates with previous charge experience. This position does not accept local candidates or first-time travelers. Blocked scheduling will not be accommodated. Work history that includes prior experience in similar environments may require approval. Candidates must have legal driving records in good standing for eligibility.
