Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,105 per week in Tucson, AZ

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS (certifications must be current and cannot expire within 30 days of start); ACLS preferred Must-Have: EPIC experience required Description: 13-week assignment available for a registered nurse in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry specialty. The candidate must possess a valid RN license and current certifications in BLS and NIHSS. ACLS is preferred but not required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing is necessary. Experience with the EPIC charting system is required. The role will include participation in a team nursing model, with an LPN and RN ratio of 8:1. Candidates will be expected to work 4 weekend shifts during the contract duration. Must be agreeable to floating within the scope of practice as needed. The position requires floating to a sister facility on rare occasions. The registered nurse will be responsible for all standard nursing duties and patient care. Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and management of dysrhythmias is required. Candidates will be required to confirm understanding of the patient ratios and team nursing model upon offer acceptance. The candidate must have strong clinical skills and the ability to manage multiple patients effectively. Professionalism and adaptability are essential for success in this role.
