Two references from a manager or supervisor in the specialty are required. Active certifications with no pending issues are necessary. Traveler will complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation with required passing scores. Must be nicotine-free for all non-nursing roles. Description: We are seeking a Medical/Surgical Telemetry Nurse for a full-time night shift position. Candidates must possess a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. A valid permanent Ohio license or a compact license is required for consideration. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. The selected candidate will provide care to patients with various medical and surgical conditions on a telemetry unit. Nurses will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role includes monitoring patients' vital signs, managing medications, and responding to emergency situations. Additional responsibilities involve maintaining accurate patient documentation and communicating changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team.
