Traveler must work at least every other holiday
Description:
All requirements listed in the job description are non-negotiable.
Minimum of 18 months permanent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience is required prior to applying for a travel position.
Must have a permanent state nursing license in hand at the time of submission.
Compact licenses are accepted for any starts after January 1, 2023.
Two references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty being applied for are required.
No co-worker references will be considered, and profiles with co-worker references will be rejected.
References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months.
Required certifications need to be active with nothing pending.
ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required.
Traveler will receive a maximum of two attempts to pass; otherwise, the submission will be canceled.
Background checks of any kind are reviewed, but no traveler with an open case will be accepted.
Facility does not accept any license violations.
Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements temporarily.
All other travelers must be nicotine-free, with a negative 10-panel drug screen required within the last 12 months.
Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to the facility for one year from their previous end date.
Candidates may extend with the client for up to 18 months, after which a 6-month break is required.
Exceptions for the break may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
