Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,110 per week in Akron, OH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13-20 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience required License: Must have a permanent or compact state license in hand Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: - Recent permanent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience - Active BLS and ACLS certifications - A reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for Description: This is a night shift position consisting of three 12-hour shifts. Candidates must have experience working in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting. It is essential for candidates to possess a valid Ohio state or compact license. The position requires active BLS and ACLS certifications. Candidates will need to provide a reference from a management-level individual in their specialty. Additional requirements include passing ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. A background check will be conducted and must be cleared. All travelers must be nicotine-free unless exempt. Applicants must complete BCI/FBI prints within 48 hours of signing the contract. Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months with a required break before returning. Modules required for the position will be billed appropriately. Travelers must complete all necessary modules prior to starting the contract.
