Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,110 per week in Akron, OH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13-20 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for - Active required certifications in hand at the time of submission Description: This is an auto offer position. Contract options range from 13 to 20 weeks. The role requires working night shifts for three consecutive 12-hour shifts. A minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience is required. Candidates must hold a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. Travelers are expected to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required, with a maximum of two attempts to pass. All background checks will be reviewed, and candidates with open cases will not be accepted. Candidates must be nicotine-free, and a negative drug screen is required within 12 months prior to the start. Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return for one year after their previous end date. Most modules are billable, and additional time required for pre-start modules is non-billable.
