Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,110 per week in Akron, OH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Duration: 13-20 Week Contract Options Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: - Recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience - Active certifications in hand - Reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty Description: This position requires working night shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts. Candidates must possess a minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. A permanent Ohio license or a compact state license must be held at the time of application. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. All certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission. References must come from a management level in the specialty applying for, from assignments worked in the past 12 months. Applicants must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. A background check will be conducted. Candidates must adhere to nicotine-free requirements and must complete necessary drug screening within the specified timeframe. Travelers can remain on assignment for up to 18 months, with a six-month break required before returning. Pre-start and annual modules must be completed as required by the facility.
