Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,120 per week in Prescott, AZ

Job Title: RN II - MEDICAL/SURGICAL/Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Ability to read basic telemetry strips. - Some experience with CVA and TIA patients. - Total joint replacement experience. Description: Unit notes: Prescreen and manager review are required. Clinician must take and pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing the contract. If the clinician fails to score 80% in two attempts, they will be disqualified for 6 months. Radius rule: 50 miles. Candidates may not have been employed in a full-time, part-time, or PRN position with any affiliated facilities in the past year. Unit has 49 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5. Reading tele strips is mandatory for nurses, who are required to interpret strips and sign off at least once per shift. Charge nurse and house supervisor positions are available. There are nurse aides on this unit with a ratio of 1:10-15. Respiratory equipment includes BiPAP and CPAP. Shifts are scheduled for 4 weeks with self-scheduling used but finalized by management. Weekend requirements include 2 weekends in a 4-week schedule. Holiday requirements include working 2 days and either the eve or 2 eves and a day during major holidays. Floating may be required to other units if qualified. Dress code is navy blue scrubs. Cancellation policy allows for 4 shifts per contract. Charting system used is Cerner. BSN is not required. This is an acute care setting.
