Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry Profession located in the healthcare setting. This night shift position involves providing patient care for adult Medical/Surgical/Oncology patients utilizing Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM). The role requires experience in charting with EPIC and managing Oncology patients, supporting interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment.
Job Details
Position Description: Medical Surgical Oncology Nights with ratios of 1:5-6, requiring 2 years of clinical experience, and certification in BCLS, NIH (National Institutes of Health), and Fire Safety.
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale); minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical/Oncology nursing; valid licensure in MO or IL, or eligible for compact licensure; previous experience with EPIC charting system; experience in Oncology, chemotherapy administration, and telemetry monitoring.
Additional Information: Experience with managing Ports, starting and maintaining IVs, interpreting dysrhythmias, and using Rapid Response/Code teams is required. The role involves floating within scope to meet facility needs and support adult patient populations in a hospital with 233 beds, including end-of-life care in comfort care suites.
