Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,130 per week in Cleveland, OH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 12 months permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry required. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. Must-Have: Must be willing to obtain NIHSS prior to start. One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for submission. Charge RN references accepted. ECG rhythm recognition test and assessment will be completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required. Description: This position requires a registered nurse specializing in Medical Surgical/Telemetry. The nurse will work three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. A minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry is required. A permanent Ohio license or a compact state license must be held at the time of submission. The nurse must possess current BLS and ACLS certifications. Successful completion of the NIHSS certification prior to starting is essential. A current reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the relevant specialty is necessary for qualification. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. Co-worker references are not acceptable. All required certifications need to be active and in hand at the time of submission. Candidates will receive two attempts to pass the ECG rhythm recognition test and assessment; failure to pass in two attempts will result in cancellation. The facility does not accept any cases with an open background check. Candidates are encouraged to maintain compliance with nicotine-free requirements unless exempted. Candidates may be required to complete additional modules and competencies as per facility guidelines.
