Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,131 per week in Morristown, TN

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in similar specialty required License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred; NIHSS can be obtained after offer Must-Have: Must be able to pass EKG testing before the start date. Must be open to floating to any MS/Tele, ER Holding, or possibly PCU/Stepdown depending on skills and needs. Description: The Registered Nurse will float between various units as needed. Must be willing to work 6 weekend nights within a 6-week schedule and holidays as necessary. The patient ratio for nights is 1:7. Travelers requesting time off during holiday weeks will not be accommodated. The candidate should possess skills in accessing/managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, and cardiac telemetry. Experience in blood product administration and interpretation of dysrhythmias is essential. Nursing responsibilities include isolation precautions, management of dysrhythmias, and care of patients with various medical conditions. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Candidate must be compliant with all policies and procedures related to staffing and floating. Candidates must provide proof of residency documents if offered a position within a specified timeframe. Certifications and licensure must be valid and not expire within 45 days of the start date.
