Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurses are sought for a facility located in Rock Island, Illinois. This position involves providing high-quality care to adult patients in a busy medical-surgical setting, with the flexibility to float within the same discipline across local campuses. The role is scheduled for night shifts, offering an engaging opportunity for experienced clinicians to contribute their expertise in a dynamic environment.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/10/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid state nursing license, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), Drivers License, work history/resume, skills checklist completed within 1 year, license verification, copy of required certifications, supervisory reference (1) at submission, at least 2 years of Med Surg experience required, stepdown/cardiac experience preferred, first-time travelers accepted
- Preferred Qualifications: Stepdown or cardiac experience, familiarity with Epic EMR, ability to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Additional Information:
- The position requires a 1:5-6 patient nurse ratio during nights
- Experience with Med Surg and telemetry patients preferred
- The traveler may be required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
- Orientation sessions scheduled periodically throughout the year, including 01/12, 01/26, 02/09, 02/23, 03/09, 03/23, 04/06, 04/20, 05/04, 05/18, 06/01, 06/15, 06/29, 07/13, 07/27, 08/10, 08/24, 09/08, 09/21, 10/05, 10/19, 11/02, 11/16, 11/30, 12/14, 12/28.
- The candidate must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility, unless local with a 10% rate reduction in Madison.
- The role includes call responsibilities with specific multipliers, call back pay, and other operational details as specified.
