• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of assignment or compact licensure
• At least 1 year of Registered Nurse (RN) experience required
• Acute care hospital experience preferred
• BLS required; ACLS preferred at hire and required within 6 months of hire
• NIH Stroke Certification preferred
• Ability to interpret telemetry strips and pass a dysrhythmia exam at orientation
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Comfort working in a high-acuity, fast-paced stepdown and telemetry environment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care using the full nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with nursing standards and hospital policies
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
• Deliver patient and family education with compassion, clarity, and professionalism
• Care for patients with cardiac, oncology, medical-surgical, and stepdown needs
• Manage chest tubes, hemodynamic monitoring, temporary pacing, and advanced respiratory support as needed
• Promote patient safety, privacy, and quality improvement throughout every shift
