Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or a compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg Tele nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS prior to start
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and telemetry rhythms
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively on a night shift team

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established care plans
• Assess patients thoroughly and document findings, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support safe, efficient, high-quality patient care
• Promote a calm, professional, and supportive environment for patients and families
