Position Highlights:
- Flex day/night rotation with 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Primarily adult Med/Surg patients with occasional pediatric patients.
- Opportunity to serve as Charge RN when needed.
- Gain valuable Critical Access Hospital experience.
- Broad scope of practice including medical, surgical, observation, swing bed, outpatient, and occasional pediatric care.
- Collaborate with a supportive nursing team that values your clinical expertise.
About the Role:
- Coordinate and deliver exceptional patient care alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using the Nursing Process.
- Meet the physiological, psychosocial, spiritual, and developmental needs of patients across the lifespan.
- Collaborate closely with providers, nursing leadership, and support staff for safe and high-quality care.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of recent acute care RN experience required.
- Charge RN experience preferred.
- Current Vermont RN license or Compact Multi-State RN License.
- BLS (American Heart Association) required.
- ACLS (American Heart Association) required.
- Meditech experience preferred.

Important Information:
- This is primarily an adult medical/surgical unit. Occasional pediatric patients may be admitted.
- Flu vaccination is required with no exceptions.
- Personal transportation is necessary due to our rural location; no public transportation available.
- Travel nurses are responsible for securing their own housing accommodations, with local resources available to assist.
- All required credentials must be uploaded at least five business days prior to the start date for smooth onboarding.
