Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,150 per week in Seattle, WA

The position will primarily involve working with adult acute care medical-surgical and telemetry post-operative patients. Typical patient diagnoses include orthopedic, neurosurgery, urology, and general surgery. Additional patient care may encompass thoracic, vascular, trauma, and other medical surgical needs. The patient ratio on the unit will range from 1:4 to 1:5. Every other weekend coverage is required, with some flexibility based on department needs. Travelers may float to other acute care units as necessary. The unit utilizes Epic for charting purposes. Candidates should have proficiency in accessing and managing ports, administering chemotherapy, and monitoring various medical devices. Experience with hemodialysis, tracheostomy care, and other high-acuity patient management skills is expected. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for collaborating with interdisciplinary support services.
