• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
• Holiday Requirement: Holidays as scheduled
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,920 - $2,020
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Orientation: 40 hours

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience required
• Strong telemetry interpretation skills and experience managing a broad range of diagnoses
• Experience with Epic charting required
• BLS required
• NIHSS required
• CPI required
• ACLS preferred
• Must be comfortable caring for adult and geriatric patients in a high-volume, high-acuity environment
• Travel nurse experience is welcome; first-time travelers with strong clinical experience may be considered

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for med/surg and telemetry patients in an ED boarder environment
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry strips, and assess changing patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and clinical standards
• Support patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to promote patient-centered care
• Document accurately and efficiently in Epic EHR with timely, thorough charting
• Remain flexible to float within specialty as needed to meet unit needs
• Deliver compassionate, professional care in a fast-paced hospital setting
