Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience, 2 years of RN experience, 2 years of Cerner experience License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district Certifications: BLS & ACLS Required, NIHSS Required Must-Have: BSN - Highly desired Description: Must live more than 50 miles away. This position requires 3 night shifts of 12 hours each. Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs. Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatments necessary for these patients. Makes initial assessments and determines the appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Completes admission assessments within the time frame established according to policies and procedures.
