Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,160 per week in Auburn, NY

Job Title: Med Surg/Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent experience required License: NY State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Interpretation of dysrhythmias Management of dysrhythmias Use of Rapid Response/Code teams Peripheral Line Care/Management Nasal Cannula and Oxygen administration Oxygen tanks and non-invasive airway management Isolation precautions Description: The Med Surg/Tele RN will be responsible for providing care to patients on a medical-surgical and telemetry unit. The nurse will independently measure telemetry strips and accurately interpret cardiac rhythms for all telemetry patients under their care. They will respond to and manage dysrhythmias as well as collaborate with Rapid Response/Code teams. Nurses will provide care including nasal cannula and oxygen administration, and peripheral line management. There is a weekend requirement of working every other weekend and holiday. The role will involve team nursing with a care team consisting of an RN, LPN, and PCA. Candidates must show proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation essential for patient care.
