Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 1:9 patient ratio across all shifts. Weekend coverage required (either every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts per month). Float to other medical-surgical units as needed.
Highlights:
37-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit serving primarily adult and geriatric populations
Team-based Care Delivery Model with collaborative staffing approach (1 RN, 1 LPN, 1 PCT per team)
Epic charting system experience required
Diverse case mix including cardiac, respiratory, GI, neuro, and orthopedic overflow patients
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
First-time travelers welcome with 2 years of experience
Requirements:
Active New York RN license required prior to submission
Minimum 2 years of recent medical-surgical telemetry experience
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Epic EMR experience mandatory
Previous charge experience strongly preferred
Must reside more than 75 miles from facility location
Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, central line care, blood product administration, and complex medical-surgical patient populations
