Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,167 per week in Brighton, MA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: MedSurg/Tele, Float Pool Duration: 13 weeks Shift: PM - 12 hours Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 4+ years recent acute care experience. Some experience in stepdown needed for Night shift. License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Must have completed 1 recent successful travel contract - Must be able to independently read telemetry strips and pass an on-site exam on Day 1 with an 84% score or better (2 attempts allowed) - Psychology experience highly preferred - Strongly prefer EPIC experience Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse to float between multiple MedSurg and Telemetry units. The nurse will be working 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Every other weekend and holiday will be required. Candidates must have a strong ability to adapt quickly to different units. Experience in reading telemetry strips is essential for this role. Successful candidates will have experience with Meditech IVs. The average patient ratio is approximately 5:1. The nurse will primarily care for patients in ortho, urology, neurology, GYN, cardiology, and cardiac surgery units. Extended requests for time off are not permitted, and most Fridays will be required. No specific schedule requests can be accommodated. Preferred experience includes 5+ years in a float position.
