Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,173 per week in Bel Air, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: RN state license Certifications: BLS, NIH, CPI; ACLS preferred Must-Have: 2 years of experience required Experience with EPIC charting system Ability to float within specialty and lower acuity as needed Description: Specialty: MS/Tele RN - Observation. Shift is 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts. Weekend requirement: Every other weekend. Holidays: Required as scheduled. Floating is required within the specialty and for lower acuity as needed. On-call is not required. Patient ratio is 1:5. Charting system used is EPIC. Previous charge experience is required. Candidates must have community hospital experience. Travel experience is required. Skills required include BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care/management, chest tube management, feeding tube care, high flow nasal cannula management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, and oxygen administration. Daily census is a maximum of 35 patients. Number of beds in the unit is 42. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, social services, pharmacy, and transportation. Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope with no restrictions or special requests. This position may require completing compliance documents within a specified timeframe.
