Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position located in Ithaca, New York. This role involves providing bedside patient care within a 32-bed medical-surgical and telemetry unit. The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment with a patient census averaging between 17 to 22 patients per day and shifts covering nights.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active nursing license, Epic experience, and at least 0 years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Medical Surgical and Telemetry units is preferred
• Additional Information: This position requires adherence to facility-specific policies and procedures related to bedside patient care. The role involves supporting patient recovery and safety, with additional support from lightly assigned Charge Nurses. The unit maintains a 1:6 patient ratio during most staffing and a 1:2 ratio for nursing assistants.
