This position involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency border care setting for adult and geriatric patients, excluding critical care units. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
Job Details
Location: Not specified (general healthcare provider setting)
Qualifications: Active RN license in Maryland or a Compact state, BLS, NIH, CPI certifications; ACLS preferred; minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical with Telemetry; at least 1 year of current hospital experience; experience with Epic charting system; must be available for 3x12 night shifts (19:00-07:30), with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Schedule: Night shifts, 3 days per week, 12 hours each shift, with weekends required every other week.
Patient Care: Care for adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Float may be required within the specialty.
Certifications: Must maintain current certifications in BLS, NIH, CPI; ACLS preferred.
Additional Requirements: Must have minimum 2 years of experience in relevant specialty; strong charting skills required; comfortable floating within scope; RTO requests of up to 7 days are permitted, with restrictions on major holidays as per policy.
