Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit Description

Join a dynamic 24-bed Medical Cardiology Unit dedicated to providing high-quality care for patients with cardiology concerns.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips to assess patient status.
• Administer and manage cardiac drips as prescribed.
• Provide post-cardiac intervention care for procedures such as PCI, ICD, PPM, and Ablation.
• Utilize TR Band and femoral approach for patient treatment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with a strong cardiac background.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret telemetry strips and administer cardiac drips.
• At least 2 years of experience working as a traveler in a healthcare setting.

Working Conditions

The RN to patient ratio is 1:5 during the day shift and 1:6 during the night shift.

Certifications

• Active Massachusetts RN License.
• AHA BLS Certification.
• AHA ACLS Certification.
