Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,200 per week in York, PA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current Registered Nurse License Required Certifications: NIHSS & BLS Required Must-Have: - Epic Experience Required - Available to work every third weekend and holidays as needed - Able to float to other units if required Description: Schedule requirements include nights with 3 shifts of 12 hours each. Shifts are scheduled from 18:45 to 07:15. Every third weekend and holiday coverage is required. Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine clinical fit. If the clinical review is passed and adheres to guidelines, candidates will be referred to the manager for final decision. Minimum experience of 2 years is required. First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates may care for COVID-19 patients. The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. RTO (Requested Time Off) must be minimized to a maximum of 7 days. Floating may be required as needed. The unit is a 22-bed medical telemetry unit. Patient demographics include young adults through geriatric patients. The unit supports patients with telemetry monitoring for various medical conditions. Staffing ratios are set at 5 patients per nurse. Additional skills required include administration of blood products and management of central lines. Candidates are expected to comply with safety protocols and isolation precautions. Wound care experience is also needed. Travelers must complete necessary testing and modules before starting. All candidates must meet certification requirements.
