Must be comfortable floating within scope to other units as needed. Description: We are seeking a Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse for the night shift. The nurse will work 3 twelve-hour shifts from 20:00 to 08:30. The average patient census is 40-42 with a ratio of 1:5. This position requires weekend shifts every other weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled. The nurse will be responsible for managing patients with a range of medical conditions. Skills required include managing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draws, and telemetry monitoring. Experience with various medical interventions is necessary, including post-operative care, substance withdrawal management, and wound care. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in charting and be familiar with the Epic charting system. Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams is essential. Additional responsibilities may include patient education and support for physical and respiratory therapies. This position requires adherence to safety protocols and infection control practices.
