Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse in Madison, WI This position involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care on a fast-paced, 28-bed medical-surgical unit that is Magnet designated. The role offers an opportunity to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and participate in quality improvement initiatives in a state-of-the-art hospital environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Evening/Night shift, 12-hour shifts, from 1900 to 0730, with weekend and holiday rotations based on operational needs.
• Required Qualifications: WI Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact RN license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, at least 2 years of acute care experience within the last three years, Epic electronic charting experience, and valid certification in Critical Care or related specialties.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemetry, charge nurse experience, and trauma level II experience are preferred.
• Additional Responsibilities: Pass a telemetry interpretation exam with a score of 80% or higher across two attempts, including adult and pediatric cardiac rhythm recognition. Traveler must pass Telemetry test prior to start.
• Certifications: BLS from AHA, WI RN or valid compact license, and successful completion of telemetry interpretation exam.
• Submittal Requirements: Candidates must meet experience requirements, pass strict pass/fail telemetry exams, and submit a certificate of completion if they do not pass in two attempts.
