Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,214 per week in Brick, NJ

Job Title: RN - Med-Surg, Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit in a major acute care hospital setting required. License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Telemetry, NIHSS, CEU Contact Stroke (4 Hours) required. Must-Have: - Strong Med-Surg/Telemetry background. Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs. Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Develops, implements, and coordinates an individualized plan of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments. Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework. Performs therapeutic nursing interventions. Manages the care of patients. Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. Provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Schedule includes working two day shifts and one night shift per week. Weekend and holiday requirements apply. Floating to other units may be required.
