Schedule: Day/Evening ratios 5:1 (stretch to 6-7:1); Night ratios 6-7:1 (stretch to 8-10:1); Every other weekend required

Highlights:

• 19-bed cardiac telemetry unit specializing in cardiac patient care
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Patient Care Technicians provide comprehensive support including vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, EKGs, and assistance with activities of daily living
• 16-hour orientation program with comprehensive pre-start modules
• Interdisciplinary team support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs

Requirements:

• Active New York State RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience required
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting experience is mandatory
• Demonstrated competency in phlebotomy and IV insertion (mandatory skills)
• Strong knowledge of dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Experience with peripheral line care, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions
• Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
